Breathe through the heats of our desire
Thy coolness and thy balm;
Let sense be numb, let flesh retire,
Speak through the earthquake, wind and fire,
O still small voice of calm!
J.G. Whitaker, a Quaker poet and anti-slavery campaigner

Gravesend is a part of Rochester Meeting.
We have a Meeting once a month, attracting about 10 people. Visitors are very welcome. Because the meeting is in a Member's house we ask that people wishing to attend contact us first.
Gravesend Quakers organise a variety of spiritual development days throughout the year.
